Visiting an organic farm and an old coal mine in Sainte-Luce

Saint-Luce is a small village (< 50 habitants!) located in the Alpes mountains, sixty kilometers South of Grenoble. Let's visit an organic farm producing local cheese (yes, we know, you cannot avoid cheese in France ;-)...

Production process explained by the farmer...

Two main ingredients: milk and... time!

Humm.. are we going to taste?

This is where time is needed...

Do you think it will fit into my suitcase?
And what about the customs?
Humm.. I don't think it will be allowed...

Smiles...

More smiles... despite the rainy day..

Let's visit now "La Mine Image", an old mine where miners used to extract anthracite (coal) since the nineteenth century. This mine is closed since 1997 and has been transformed into a museum (http://www.mine-image.com/en).

Let's start the visit..

We are inside the mine...

...and outside! After all, we prefer the fresh air..
See you soon...
